Revise key topics, learn study strategies, reduce stress, and build confidence!
Get a head start on the GCSE maths exam this summer. My online group class will meet on Tuesdays at 11AM for one hour and will help your student stay on track for their exam next year.
Each class will review one key topic as well as explore a study strategy that they can use throughout the school year. Here’s what we’ll cover:
- 28th July: Systems of Equations and Beating Procrastination
- 4th August: Ratio and Proportion and Spaced Repetition
- 11th August: Expanding and Factorising Brackets and Deliberate Practice
- 25th August: Right-angled Trigonometry and Building Helpful Habits
My lessons include discussion and demonstration of the key topic, as well as group and individual practice, including on exam-style questions. I model how to think mathematically about the concept, and provide several ways to approach exam problems so that students build effective strategies if they find themselves stuck. I have a BSc in Mathematics and an MA in Education, so my goal is to help students develop mathematical skills and to learn effectively.
Cost: £12/session or £40 for all four sessions.
